Currents Ocean Energy

Energy produced by ocean currents, is one of the sectors using renewable energy.

This is interested to people because of its great potential for development is on the use of energy from current sea, both seasonal and time constant as the tides, caused by the gravitational forces of the Moon and the Sun.

The energy resource is to take advantage of the kinetic energy contained in ocean currents, under differences temperature or salinity conditions using the influence of the tides.

Along with a Central European company, we are participating in prototypes, and research into the development of new turbines able to take underwater currents generated by tides, instead of lifting expensive dams, reducing cost and impact of course.

It is anticipated that these technologies are not commercially viable before 2020.
